Rule 628 | Kneeing

(Note) Kneeing is the act of a player leading with or extending their knee outwards for the purpose of making contact, or attempting to do so, with the opponent.

(a) A minor or a major penalty shall be assessed for kneeing an opponent.

(b) A major plus a game misconduct penalty shall be assessed to any player who injures an opponent as the result of a kneeing.
